The Whiting Lane Be the Media Junior Video Team went to the Capital on Wenesday April 28th, to present what we have done this year in the Connecticut Educator’s Computer Association Exhibition. We presented to many important people, like Beth Bye (The state rep for West Hartford) and we met the Speaker of the House. We were chosen to go to the Capitol out of 30 schools.
Team with Beth
We were given an Official Citation signed by the Secretary of State that states,
“In reconition of your selection by the Connecticut Computer Educators Association to display your work at the state capitol. The skills you have displayed are vital in this rapidly changing world. The abilty to shoot video and tell a story was once a talent limited to professionals, but you have shown that new technology allows anyone with a pocket sized camera and an idea to share in this art.”
