To what extent has the U.S. government’s Presidents, Congress, and Supreme Court been a force for democracy and justice in U.S. History up to 1930? To what extent has the government not fulfilled its promise?
In your answer consider policy, laws, and rulings, how they were passed, and how they were carried out. Choose three examples in different time periods that are related to each other. You must use examples you have read about in your textbook, you have researched, or we have studied in class.

Whose side is the government on?
