Harlem Race Riot
In this short unit, we will study the Harlem Race Riot of 1935, an event which many argue was the end to the Harlem Renaissance. We will use this event as a prelude to writing your research paper.
You will read three different articles on the race riot. You will categorize the information as

Then you will write about the race riot using footnotes to tell which article your information came from.
