In my opinion the video on the passengers of flight 143 was very interesting. I think the pilot was very well trained and stayed calm, he knew what to do and he took control of the situation. Even though the pilots were not the cause for the plane failure, they still could have checked over eveything because they were told the gas gauge did not work. After watching this video I learned how little uinit conversions can cause an incident to become life or death. I would recommend this video to people because it teaches a lesson to eveyone on how very important it is to make sure you know unit conversions and to check things over.

this film was a very interesting and unique film. this film was about a plane in 1983 that was flying out of montreal and suddenly had a light blink on that was indicating that the left fuel tank was out and then the rest of the fuel tanks went out. this is probly the worst case senerio to have on a plane. although everything went wrong the pilots seemed to conqure all the odds and land safely with no body seriously injured. this was all caused by a human error when the man incharge of filling up the fuel for the plane forgot that montreal uses the metric system and that he forgot to convert pounds to kilo grams. this film was fun and educational to watch in class, thank you
