I think the pilot was very well trained and stayed calm, he knew what to do and he took control of the situation. Even though the pilots were not the cause for the plane failure, they still could have checked over eveything because they were told the gas gauge did not work. After watching this video I learned how little uinit conversions can cause an incident to become life or death. I would recommend this video to people because it teaches a lesson to eveyone on how very important it is to make sure you know unit conversions and to check things over.
