Mon May 2    Goal: To review electrostatics key concepts

1.  Go over electrostatics book review questions; quiz is Tues on electrostatics;  2.  Electrostatics handout for review and any other electrostatic questions; discuss  3.  Review for open notes quiz on electrostatics Tues

Tues May 3   Goal: To demonstrate mastery of electrostatics concepts

1. Quiz on electrostatics (may use notes) 2. �Intro to circuits through fact-finding activity using book.

Wed 5/4   Goal:  To introduce key concepts of electricity unit

1.  Handout on electricity notes  and go over  2.  notes on ppt on circuits and show video clip from How stuff works

Thurs 5/5   Goal:  To distinguish between series and parallel circuits

1.  Hand out lab activty using hand generators, Labquests, voltage probes and bulbs.  Groups of 2  Collect    2.  Homework:  electricity ohm’s law

Fri 5/6   Goal:  To distinguish between series and parallel circuits

1.  Phet activity on circuits.  Go over first part as a class then break into groups of 2 to complete
