Please bear in mind that this is a mid-quarter progress report.  Current averages can increase or decrease depending on a student’s performance in the second half of the quarter.  Have your child see teachers about missing assignments.  Because your child is rapidly approaching 7th grade, we strongly urge you to encourage him/her to consult with teachers directly about improving grades.  Self-advocacy is an important skill students need to acquire prior to the end of the year.
