Mrs. Snodgrass's Earth Science Class

"There is no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work and learning from failure" – Colin Powell

About Mrs. Snodgrass

I was born and raised in East Granby, CT.  I graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Comprehensive Science.  My certification is for high school biology, earth science and general science.   This year I am teaching Conceptual Physics and 9th grade Earth Science here at Hall High School.  Although this is only my third year at Hall High School, this will be my eighth year teaching high school science.   I am passionate about opening students eyes to acknowledge that science is all around us and encompasses literally every aspect of our lives.  Improving our students scientific literacy and tackling the many misconceptions often associated with science is a task that I am determined to accomplish.  I look forward to exploring the earth and its environment, and unwrapping the challenges society is facing as the demand for the earth’s resources increases.  We will focus on developing our investigative and laboratory skills using a systematic approach to problem solving.
