    My turtle’s name is Truck. She is a sub-adult female Loggerhead. She was found on the GA Bulldog Research Vessel, and was taken in because she has a substantial amount of barnacles and a significant loss of keratin. She was released on 30th September 2011 off the coast of Jekyll Island, Georgia. The last day she was tracked was 1st February 2012. She was headed south west back toward Georgia.

    3.Dicey was found stranded near the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station in New Jersey. Dicey had suffered from a shark attack and had an exposed bone among other scratches and bites. Employees of the Station rescued Dicey and brought him/her to the Marine Mammal Stranding Center (MMSC).

    The turtle’s name is Doc. He is an adult male Loggerhead.
    Doc was actually captured in Florida Bay in June 2009, for observational/study purposes. He weighs 78 kg. He was released back to Florida Bay on March 10th, 2011.
    The last day he was tracked was January 31st, 2012.

She has also been adopted by four parents Ana Karla, Brian Carey, Mike Linton, and the Second Grade class of Rancho Santa Fe. She was received as a hatchling but is now at the adult stage.
    4. She was last tracked on January 23rd 2012.
    5. She is currently heading towards the tip of Louisiana and possibly New Orleans.

    3.)Emerald is a Green turtle who was brought in to the Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project in 2008 with a crack in her plastron and damage to the carapace and face. He/she was kept at the rehabilitation project until Emerald was fully healed again.
    4.)The last day Emerald was tracked is in January 31, 2012
    5.)Seems that the Green Turtle is heading south along the coast of Dubai

    1) Big Boy 25, Male, Loggerhead

    3) Big Boy 25 is a male loggerhead sea turtle. He was found entangled in crab pot gear on May 22, 2011 just off the coast of Cape Charles. The US Coast Guard Station Cape & VAQS staff was able to rescue him & bring him back to the Virginia Aquarium Marine Animal Care Center for treatment. When going into rehab, his left front flipper was so severely injured that the staff & veterinarian decided to amputate the flipper. The surgery was performed on May 24th & was successfully. Big Boy was quickly on the way to recovery.
    4) Last Day Tracked: 2012-02-06 ; 02:20:13 (February 6th, 2012).
    5) He seems to be heading south of Virginia.

    3. Squall has a exposed bone on her right front flipper. Her name was given to her because she spent a night on the bulldog during a “Squall”. She is being tracked by the Georgia Sea Turtle Center

    4. The Last day this turtle was tracked was february 5th, the tracker releases data every four days.

    5. The turtle was headed south, away from Jacksonville by 396 kilometers.

    3. She had old amputation on her right front flipper with exposed bone on right front flipper when they found her. She had lots of wounds from her adventures like a large wound on the skin above her flipper, and two more on her plastron (bottom shell). Also she had more wounds on conjunctiva of both eyes. Squall was saved by Georgia Bulldog Research Vessel. Weights 169.6 lbs / 77.1 kg.

    3. Johnny was measured 58.8 cm and weighed 31 kg. Johny was first found in 2008 in the Netherlands and Portugal. the turtle was bought to Mote’s Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Hospital. the turtle is now in the gulf of mexico near florida.

    3.Life stage is juvenile. Hunky was reported as distressed by Fishers at Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, on May 12, 2011. Hunky was entangled around the neck with a crab pot line, preventing Hunky to swim. Hunky had to be treated everyday with antibiotics, and other topical ointments. He was released after recovering from the Virginia Aquarium’s research vessel on June 29, 2011.

    3. Emerald was brought to the Dubai Rehabilitation Project in 2008. In 2010, she was scheduled for release but relapsed and fell sick again. After she made a full recovery, on November 25th, 2011 she was the fifth released turtle of the Dubai Rehabilitation Project.
    4. Februrary 7th, 2012.
    5. South from her previous tracking point on the coast of Dubai.

    3. Millie is one of only six Australian Flat Back turtles who are tagged with Mk10-AF Fastloc PTT, in the year 2011 for the nesting season she was found at the 80 mile beach in Western Australia. Millie measured 88.5cm (CCL) and 73cm (CCW).
    4. 02-08-2012 was the last day she was tracked.
    5. North along the Indian Ocean coast line.

    3. S/he had been stranded on False Cape State Park, a stretch of beach just north of the North Carolina line. Luckily for Sterling, a park ranger happen to see him/her and called the VAQ Stranding Response Team. Sterling was lethargic, slightly underweight, covered in barnacles and had a very low blood sugar.

    3. This turtle suffered from cold stunning brought on by a rapid drop in water temperature. Stranded on the beach, Lawson was rescued by biologists at the National Park Service. After initial treatment by a veterinarian, this turtle was brought to the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores for rehabilitation.

    4. The last day it was tracked was on February 7, 2012

    5. This turtle was last seen going to North Carolina.

    2. Virginia Aquarium Stranding Response Program Tracking

    3. Sterling arrived at VAQS on May 28, 2011 after he/she had been stranded on False Cape State Park, NC. A Park ranger found Sterling underweight, lethargic, low blood sugar, and covered in barnacles, so the ranger immediately called the VAQ Stranding Response Team. Luckily for Sterling, he quickly recovered in rehab at the Virginia Aquarium Marine Animal Care Center.
    4. The last day it was tracked was on January 24th, 2012 at 17:41:57.
    5. Sterling was headed South down Virginia Beach.

    3.Djimmi was fitted with a PTT as part of the Cape Lambert Turtle Management program. Djimmi was a return from the same beach, where she nested in December 2010.

    3.My turtle was in the Cape Lambert Turtle Management Program. The PTT was fitted at Bells Beach, Cape Lambert, but P-Dog had previously been flipper tagged at Cowrie Beach, Mundabullangana. She seems to be traveling towards the South West.
    4.She was tracked on the 8th off of the South West coast of Australia.
    5.She seems to be stayi ng in the same spot as her last 20 or so tracks were in almost the same location.

    3. Trash was one of four flatback turtles tagged with a Mk10-AF Fastloc PTT at Eco Beach, south of Broome in Western Australia for the 2011 nesting season. She is a very special turtle as she has been seen nesting at Eco Beach every year of the program. She has a distinctive barnacle on the side of her head.

    3. Pumpkin was found by a helpful boater while she was in Pumpkin Hill Creek down in Florida. Pumpkin was transferred to Georgia Sea Turtle Center. Pumpkin was in some unhealthy conditions, she had very low red blood cell count, overload with algae and leeches, lethargic, weak and floating, and had a detached retina in her right eye. Pumpkin was going to be released in May 2009; she was able to respond well to the treatment. But unfortunately a few days before being released while returning to her tank, she began to float. Pumpkins GI tract became obstructed and some sloughing of her intestinal tract. They then decide to put her into antibiotics until she improved. She was finally released o\in September 2009.

    3. Ed was found stranded on Cumberland island Georgia On September 12th 2009. Ed has severe edema fluid buildup around the eyes and ears. Ed fortunentlly Recieved medication and is the first green turtle to have a Satellite transmitter.

    3) This turtle was released from Barrow Island and is one of over 80 flatback turtle tracked by the West Australian Satellite Tracking Project. The tracking program is part of a larger marine turtle research and monitoring program that is being sponsored by Chevron Australian Gorgon project. Satellite tracking results will allow researchers to investigate where the female flatback turtles go between nesting events both within a season and between seasons.

    Gilbert was captured at Southern Bush and released in Caicos Bank. He was released on 12/31/2011. The last day Gilbert was tracked was 2/8/2012 and was just moving around the southern part of the Windward Passage.

    3. Kermit was found stranded on a beach in Virginia. He was very small and had different plastic objects stuck in his esophagus. He had to go through many surgeries to remove the objects and this affected his ability to swallow. Kermit had to be spoonfed until he was okay.When released, he wighed 11 lbs as opposed to the 5 lbs when he was found.
