Matnificent

1. I am truly insane.  Ask my previous students.  At first I may be frightening, but you will learn to love me.  Who says school can’t be entertaining.

2. Ever want to earn some extra credit.  I love chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and strawberry cheesecake! YUM!!

3.  I learned all my teaching skills from Quinnipiac University.  I encourage all of you to think about college.  It will be a huge part of all your futures, no matter what type of college you attend.

4. I have a doggy name Lexi.  She is a pomeranian and looks like a white fluffy wolf.  She loves squeaky balls and yummy treats. 

5. Social Studies rocks!!! I think it is absolutely amazing learning about people and events from the past.  To stand anywhere in the world and think, “Who else has been here in the last 100 years?” or “What did this place look like 100 years ago?” is awesome.

6. I have been dancing since I was 4 years old.  I have done a little bit of everything, from ballet to hip hop.  Oh yea, your teacher can get jiggy wit it!!  Maybe I’ll bust a move for y’all later.

7. If you need help with anything, never hesitate to ask.  I am here for all of you before, during and after school.  

8. I am a huge FRIENDS fan.  See this TV show was around when I was in high school, which was a while ago.  NO NOT THAT LONG AGO!  HOW OLD DO YOU THINK I AM???  You can see re-runs of the show on TBS.  It’s hilarious.

9. I am going to make you think this year.  Yes, that means you have to use your brain.  I am not going to feed you the answers.  I may never even give you the answers that is for you to find out.  Think of it like a huge treasure hunt.

10. I love teaching!! You know some people are born with fantastic talents, like great at sports or the arts.  Well, I am 100% sure I was born to teach, but I can’t become a better teacher without your help.  I need you as much as you may need me.  It’s going to be a great year.  Let the fun begin.
