Turkey – not the bird!
These pictures are from Istanbul, Turkey. The first one is looking out over the city of Istanbul. The second is from the amazing performance by Dervish. There is live music played and there is singing. Then there is twirling and twirling and twirling. It is very beautiful to watch.

Drumming in Cuba
This is a picture I took at a music rehearsal in Cuba. These kids were amazing drummers, singers and dancers (even the little guy!) I wonder where they are today?
