Mr. Wells’ 4th grade came up with these verses:

Bridget – I won’t wear green ’cause then I’ll be a machine

Dylan M – I won’t wear gold ’cause then I’ll turn old

Shibe – I won’t wear blue ’cause then I’ll look like glue

Asjha – I won’t wear blue ’cause then I’ll get mixed into stew

Dylan S – I won’t wear black ’cause they’ll think I’m a Cadillac

Ryan  – I won’t wear red ’cause then I won’t have a head

Maxime – I won’t wear brown ’cause then I’ll look like a clown

Kyran – I won’t wear white ’cause I’ll be blinded by the light

Bryant – I won’t wear white ’cause then I’ll have no sight

Jonah – I won’t wear black ’cause they’ll shove me in a sack

Jaheim – I won’t wear white ’cause I don’t want to fight

Mario – I won’t wear orange ’cause I’ll be dipped in porridge

Andrea – I won’t wear green ’cause then I’ll be mean

Quynh – I won’t yellow ’cause I’ll fly like jello

Luis – I won’t wear gold ’cause then I’ll smell old

Atazjia – I won’t wear gold ’cause I’ll look bold

Katherine – I won’t wear black ’cause I’ll look like a black cat

Mica – I won’t wear yellow ’cause I’ll taste like jello

Jasmine – I won’t wear pink because I’ll look like ink

Balsam – I won’t wear purple ’cause it might make me burple

Brianna – I won’t wear blue ’cause I’ll sound like a kazoo

Eboni – I won’t wear pink ’cause then I’ll start to shrink
