Brownie Troop 441 Wants to Spend Some Time With You

01-some-time-with-you-2

Our Brownies in Troop 441 helped write a song with one of our very talented Webster Hill parents, Liz Grabber. I think you’ll love it!

Some Time With You

I’ve been waitin’ all day to spend some time with you/See your smilin’ faces/Share a laugh or two

‘Cause when my sky is cloudy and the world’s gone gray – a little bit of you goes a long, long way

(chorus) You’ve got me singin’ a new song – the kind that makes the world wanna sing along/ I’d climb a mountain, swim an ocean or two – just to spend some time with you oo-oo, just to spend some time with you.

So here we are together/Can’t wipe this grin off my face/ We’ll stay here all afternoon/ Never wanna leave this place

‘Cause when my sky is cloudy and the world’s gone gray – a little bit of you goes a long, long way (to chorus)

Listen to the Seasons

Here is a great song composed by Stacie, a 4th grade02-seasons student, called “Seasons”. It took us a long time (ok, it took ME) a long time to get this one up for you to listen to. Thank you for your patience, Stacie! -Ms. H

A World of Difference – the Webster Hill School Song

01-a-world-of-differenceHere are the words for our school song, “A World of Difference” by Joseph Martin. Enjoy!

Verse 1

It takes the sunshine and the rain to help a garden grow,

The sun and moon together work to make the ocean flow,

Our strengths are in our differences, the gifts we have to share,

And together we can build a better world for people everywhere.

Chorus

We’re the colors of the rainbow, We’re the stars up in the sky.

No two of us are quite the same and here’s the reason why,

We all have a purpose and a special place to serve.

For it takes a world of differences to make a difference in our world.

Verse 2

Mountains need the valleys, the water needs the sand,

And we all need each other to lend a helping hand,

So we must work together, we can’t do it alone,

Yes, we all need each other to make this house a home (to chorus)
