Welcome to the Second Semester!
During the first semester, our attentions were given to the movement of matter and energy through Earth’s system which consists of the hydrosphere, geosphere, atmosphere and biosphere. We ended the semester by looking at natural cycles that circulate matter and energy – rock, water and carbon.
The second semester will study specific spheres and examine the effect that human activity has on these natural cycles. We begin with the atmosphere.
