in our challenge problem it says you always want at least 4 times as much in the savings as in the mutual fund so i said y less than or equal to (5-x-y)4, and got a constraint Y less than or equal to -4/5x+4, would that be right?
On question 18 on the chapter test c work sheet did anyone use linear combination or substitution?

What happens when a is = to 1 instead of a1. Do u open up or down?
and for the Hw on pg. 938 are we supposed to do all the factoing problems ( #1-30)? or were we given problems? i didnt get a chance to copy it down in class.
I also was wondering about the homework for the night, were we assigned all 30 problems on page 938, or specific ones?
