Solving Linear Systems
Oct 24th, 2011 by corricelli
Hello there,
Please feel free to use this spot to post questions related to Unit 1D concepts. We are spending most of this week solving linear systems by using the graphing calculator AND converting word problems into solving linear systems.
Questions/concerns/replies? Use this spot,
Mrs. Corricelli

i feel this week has gone fast and with ease and i feel comfortable going to take the quiz tomorrow!
Durring the powere outage i was bored and decided to take a glance at my notes. I practiced some problems on solving linear systems to reinforce my knowledge on it ad feel very confident and preparedvfor any upcoming quizes involving them.
Patrick,
What problems did you do? Great idea! Could you just be a little more specific?
Thanks,
Mrs. Corricelli
on friday i finally understood what part to shade in when graphing two or three inequalities
Kiara,
Great! What happened to make this more clear?
Thank you,
Mrs. Corricelli
i looked back at my notes and hndouts and tried to re-do the problems i got wrong and when i re-did them i got them right and understood it
I still dont feel 100% comfortable on finding the answers to the point of interest. how do you know if to round up, down, or just keep the number you have?
Maria,
Do not worry! We will keep working at it until it is better understood. Today was our first exposure. The key is to keep data points within the region. These points were not whole numbers so we needed to decide if we would round up or round down, whatever was needed, to stay in the region.
We will do more examples tomorrow and it should feel better!
Happy Tuesday,
Mrs. Corricelli
I thought that link one helped me a lot. I have a problem with shading the wrong way and this helped me.
this link helped me shqde the correct region by creating problems and i would have to solve them. It helped alot and it also goes step by step to show how they got the solution. which really h4elps if your not so sure about graphing linear inequalities http://hotmath.com/help/gt/genericalg1/section_5_4.html
