Today I learned the difference between the two graphs we’re learning about in class.
The game Math Functions, Relations, Domain & Range helped me
today in class i had trouble trying to understand “linear functions” and whats perpendicular to what.
Amy,
Thanks for this post – a game is coming!
Happy Weekend,
Mrs. Corricelli
one thing that i found quite easy just because i learned it last year was parallel vs. perpendicular because i know the diffrence between them.
One thing that i learned earlier this week was that slope means the steepness of a line. rise over run , vertical over horizontal.
Yesturday in class I learned that the rise is the vertical change, and the run is the horizontal change.
i understand now how to find the slope for parallel and perpendicular lines
In Class I learned that math is connected to my AP psychology course sharing the same terms such as correlation coefficient amoung other things .
i learned that different people even with the factor of differnt heights have almost the same forearm length
Today I learned that with a positive slope the run part is to the right. Now I think that I can ace tomorrow’s quiz.
Today I learned the difference between no slope and zero slope.
the other day i relearned how to solve the y=mx+b equation.
Last week I was reminded that when graphing always start with b (the y-intercept).
Today, I learned when you’re graphing you always start with the Y-intercept.
Yesturday, I defined no slope and zero slope
Today i learned that if the sign is a less sign then you shade under the slope.
This week I learned how to solve equations better. I feel more comfortable when evaluating them and find that plotting cordinates to determine a slope is much easier. This goes to show the benefits of asking questions.
Patrick,
Great post – very reflective. I have totally noticed the amount of questions and their quality improved greatly this week!
Keep it up!
Mrs. Corricelli
just came back from the college fair alot of colleges so little time but ultimately loved regis college
Kiara,
Great! What did you love? What do you plan to study! Yea for you!
Mrs. Corricelli
I just got back from the collage fair
It was really interesting and there was a lot of people there it was really crowded , but the people were really nice and informative upon my career choices , and I have an idea of where i would like to go now!
Brenda,
Where? To do what!? Do share!
Yea!
Mrs. Corricelli
So this is my 5th time trying to post this time on my computer because my phone was not letting me. On another note I just got back from the college fair , it was really crowded but informative on our different career paths.
college fair was interesting. got stuff from like 30 schools. #1 school is still URI.
today i learned that i can use linear line functions to tell the slop of my shopulders to my knee caps…its negative

the online graphing calculator that i found
Thanks Rocco! You beat me to it – nice job!
Nice job Rocco!
now i understand how to create two equations based on the word problems
Kiara,
Yeah! So happy for you!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Corricelli
I finally have the graphing down, but I keep forgetting the parenthesis . But ill get the hang of it soon enough
