I used math in school construction, work, home, computer, crossing the streets for the timings, and counting money.

One fun fact I learned today is that Ty enjoys math and he likes to solve equations with X, Y, and Z values.

I used math to findout how much my mothers groceries were by adding up all of the prices of each item and finding a total.

2. I looked at the Geometry link because that was the class that I took last year.

Thanks for the comments! I wonder if you could expand on the “time is left in the day” – can you be more specific? Perhaps you might look at telling time and how that is related to geometry? (Hint: Circles!)

I used math before to figure out how much I would need to save up for a trip to Spain for my 18th birthday.

I used math at all of the restaurants I would eat at by calculating the tip in my head.

one fun fact i learned today “automathography” it means your personal experiences for math and jocelyn taught me how to blog!
I would use math in my life when I want to buy something and I have to figure out if I have enough even with the tip that I add up too.
i used math to help count my dads money for the rent, i also used math to create memoirs for my sweet fifteen depending on how many people were going to attend.
I used math to find out how much I am paying when I buy groceries
One fun fact I learned today was that modern cellphones are 100x smaller than the 1st computer.
One thing I learned today was that cell phones and computers are the biggest media right now.

Exploring the blog, I found the following link math histrory to be interesting beacsue there was so many places math was brought up from. the reason i liked it is beacause i wanted to know the background of math

something thati learned that i found intresting is that cell phones are literally becoming the next big thing, i my self own a blackberry and its just like carrying a mini laptop in my pocket. i havnt looked into a computer screen maybe in 4 weeks since i got this phone. its amazing how far technology is coming with new high end android and blackberry and iphones. no one really needs a computer anymore.
I use math at home to make measurments when cooking from a recipe
I used math to mentally calculate the cost of new equipment for my drumset when I visited Dynamic Percussion. I included the tax as well.
I use math to figure out the tax of things i want to buy . i usually use a calculator .
One fun fact I learned today is 250 million people go on Youtube each month.
I used math when I went out to eat with my friends and i needed to split the bill.

one fun fact i learned today was that 1/3 of cell phone owners don’t trust making purchases with their “sell phone” (get it?) such as getting pizza delivered.

i have used math in many ways, one way i have used math is at work! when people use cash to pay for somthing and then i have to count how much change they get in return.
I use math when I play cards on vacation, cook and count my money.
I used math in many ways such as calculating the money i would have left when buying something i need, checking the time on a clock, and when cooking food like brownies
Mmmm. Cooking is one of my FAVORITE math applications!

3. I used math when i was at a store to buy some polo shirts and the clerk said if you sign up with us for 15.99 you get discounts on every purchase, then she said the discount only 10% so i had to figure out which was the better option! POLO!

I used math when shopping to keep track of my purchases so that I don’t overspend or get overcharged.
I learned that youtube uploads more videos than NBC.
One fun fact I learned today is how a discrete graph and a continuos graph looks like what it is.
i would use math in my future because i want to be an architech so i would have to master geometry and work hgarder on equations

A fun fact that I learned today in class is that interpolation is an x-value that is within the data sets and a extrapolation is an x-value that can be outside the data set.
I just wanted to say that I felt like the quiz today in class was very easy and I hope I got a good grade on it!!
I went to the college fair on wednesday night and it was a great experience, glad I went. I think I might go to a university and a comestology school after my 4 years of college.!!!
I felt like the review packet in class today was very easy besides the basic mistakes I made. So Im guessing the test is going to be just the the packet , hopefully I will Ace it!!
something i learned is finally how to solve linear systems, these type of equations are fun
i use math mostly every time i go to the mall to see how much money i need to spend and how much money i have spent.
I’m actually enjoying class now that I am understanding what we are doing. It’s so easy I could do it in my sleep…..sike!!! But its fun because now in our class everyone is participating!!!!
