Today we learned how to undo a square. At first it was a bit challenging but once i understood it, it was easy. Not using a caculater is tough but i can do most of them in my head so i should be fine.
Awesome! Can you (or anyone) connect to real life? Why, do you think, I am asking you to think a bit without the calculator?

We will need to know how to do this without a calculator because it’s important to be able to do math using your only your mind. It could also help us to use the calculator more efficiently.

Yes! (on both counts!) I know that it is a little cumbersome, but this will help your brain to process so much more efficiently.

I know it’s useful to use our brains but the calculator was made to think for us and its much faster! im just saying. And the concepts of quadratics is not as hard as i originally thought.
Hey mrs.corricelli, my dad and I were wondering wouldn’t the distance formula come or hand on the hw for tonight?

I don’t have any concerns but I felt like class was great today because I helped out a friend in class, she needed help and I was glad I knew what I was doing? But sometimes I do get stuck at solving for 0…?
Anything multiplied or divided by 0 is 0.

Careful here… Anything multiplied by 0 is 0. You cannot divide a number by 0. That is undefined.

As each day goes on i feel more confident with this part of quadratics. i have been trying to ask more questions during class so that i feel less stressed during the quiz. since tomorrow is Thursday i hope we get a review packet so we have one more day to understand everything, other then that i have no more concerns.

Hi, I think the song really help me to remember the steps of the equation. I probably would’ve forgotten it if it wasn’t for that. Also I’d like to welcome Shane Chang to our class, hopefully we can be part of the team picture soon.

the new material that we learned on wednesday about operations with complex nukber were confusing at first and i didnt know that (i) standed for -1. now that it is thursday and we did that activity i found it easier and see the pattern that goes along with it
