The Chess Club meets every Thursday after school in Room PG01. You are also welcome to bring an opponent and come other days. Training available for all ability levels.
The Hall High Chess Team is composed of regular members of the Chess club who want to compete in area tournaments of the US Chess Federation. A USCF membership is required.
Chess Tournaments members will be entering:
1. Simsbury Open Scholastic Chess Championships, Saturday, Feb. 25 2012 Entry fee only $10 through Hall Chess Club by Feb 16 - includes a 3-month USCF membership. $30 fee for same-day registration
2. Eastern Class Championships March 2-4, 2012.
3. CT Scholastic Chamionships March 24, 2012.
4. New Haven Scholastic Championships March 31,2012
