After a brief pause in our circulation, we are happy to say that books can once again be checked out from the library. Our new system DESTINY takes searching to a new level, giving us the ability to give students access to appropriate websites, check out e-books and much, much more! Governor to visit West Hartford

Information on Governor Dannel Malloy’s visit March 6 to West Hartford
On Tuesday night, March 6, at 6:30 at Charter Oak International Academy, 425 Oakwood Avenue, Governor Malloy will be visiting West Hartford as one of four stops as a part of his state-wide visits regarding his recent education proposals. The meeting is open to the public, and we encourage anyone who has questions for the governor, or who would like more nformation about his education proposals, to attend.
Governor Malloy says he hears positive feedback from his visits to towns last year to discuss the state budget and wanted to get feedback and answer questions in a similar manner for his education bill. When Governor Malloy announced his series of visits in a press release, he said “There has never been a time when education and jobs are more closely aligned”, and later added “If I have to go door-to-door to sell this package to Connecticut residents, then so be it.”
Speakers will be chosen by lottery, so please get there early to register.
