Fingerprint  Masterpieces

Monday, January 30

6:00 – 7:15 PM

Just as no two fingerprints are alike, no two Fingerprint Masterpieces will be alike!

Using non-toxic ink pads and paint, you will transform your fingerprints into a large family masterpiece. Create a beautiful landscape or vase of flowers; the possibilities are endless!

At the end of the night, your family masterpiece will be matted on colored paper and ready to display or frame.

There is no cost but pre-registration is required via e-mail or phone.

Special thanks to our PTO for their generous support!

See you then!

SIXTH GRADE PARENTS:  The State of Connecticut requires all sixth grade students to have a physical examination and immunization update done by your child’s primary care provider during the sixth grade school year.  An exam done during fifth grade is still acceptable.  Your child’s completed exam and immunization update needs to be in the nurse’s office by June 20, 2012, in order for your child to be admitted to seventh grade.  Letters are being mailed this week to the parents of students who are not in compliance.  Please be advised, your child will not be allowed to start seventh grade until proof of required immunizations and/or a completed physical examination form is presented to the nurse’s office.

If your child has a physical exam scheduled in the upcoming months, please notify me.

If you have any questions, contact me at 231-2102.  Thank you.

Congratulations and thank you to Mrs. McClain and our Voices of Bristow for an outstanding job representing our school and community at this morning’s 16th annual celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and legacy.  In a very real and concrete way, Dr. King’s ideals of diversity, understanding, and compassion are a part of Bristow Middle School, and we continue to work hard each day to live up to these standards.
