Monday, May 24

Social Studies: Prepare for John Brown essay. You must bring the completed graphic organizer with you to write the essay. If you going to the Conard guidance presentation during 2 and 3 periods tomorrow, you will write the essay in class on Wednesday.  If you missed period 3 class for the Hall presentation, you will be writing the essay tomorrow in class.

English :We finished notetaking for the essay on Harriet Tubman.  Rubric was discussed and will be handed out tomorrow.  Essay is due on Wednesday.  Continue to read.  RCQ for Honors May quiz is due by Friday.

Social Studies: Read chapter 10.  Take notes on Harpers Ferry and John Brown’s trial. Also take notes on Brown as hero, and Brown as villain.

Social Studies: Read Chapter 9. Take notes, define terms, answer questions.

Math Period 1: Study for chapter 9 test.

Math Period 2: None

Math Period 3,6: Study for quiz on 11.1-11.4

English Read 30-40 pages for Friday.  Prepare role.  Correct analogies if score is not 60.  (periods 1-3)

Social Studies: Read both Preface I and Preface II in War, Terrible War.  Take notes. Do you think war could have been avoided in 1861?

Friday, May 14

Social Studies: Study for tests.  Bring New Nation and Liberty for all to class on Monday to be collected.
