Math Period 1:  Study for chapter 10 test!!!  Work on exam packets.

Math Period 2:  Keep working on Tessellation Project

Math Period 3,6:  Do chapters 9 and 10 on the exam review packet.  Start up chapter 11 as well.

Social Studies: Read chapter 21 and answer the following questions:  1.  Why didn’t the Union armies allow African Americans to enlist early in the war? 2.  How were enslaved blacks forced to contribute to the Confederate war effort?  3.  How did the 54th Massachusetts turn northern ideas about black soldiers upside down? 4. Why did black soldiers have to prove themselves in battle to gain acceptance? 5. Why did it take special courage for black soldiers to fight Confederates?

Math Period 1: Pg. 622, 19-57 odd

Math Period 3,6: Pg. 807, 1-35 odd, 41-45 odd

English:  Reading log this week, Tuesday through Friday.  Only on Civil War novel.  Post references to actual events,people of the Civil War.  Begin to put portfolio together.
