Given the recent major sorting event I thought I would pose this discussion question:
Would you rather get to the Super Bowl and lose or not get to the Super Bowl at all?
Please discuss…
remember first names only and please give some reasons/details to support your position (it always makes for the best arguments!)

Every year the President of the United States is required to report to Congress. Within the last 100 years presidents have taken this opportunity to deliver a speech to a joint session of Congress. This is the State of the Union speech which was on television last night. Tomorrow I will post a video link and text version of President Obama’s speech as well as some questions which will hopefully generate some discussion on the blog. Stay Tuned!

Alright folks; here are my predictions for Conference Championship Weekend in the NFL:
AFC: As you all know I grew up in Indiana. So of course I am predicting the Colts will be going to the Super Bowl! Colts 20 – Jets 14
NFC Championship:
Again I am totally biased with this pick. 1) I went to Purdue and so did Drew Brees. 2) I cannot stand Brett Favre. So here’s my prediction:
Saints 34 – Vikings 28
Happy football watching!
